Job Summary

Lincoln Learning Solutions is looking for a Sales Representative responsible for generating sales leads, closing deals, and meeting/exceeding sales goals. Duties include sales presentations, product demonstrations, finalizing contracts, customer support, client renewals, etc.

To be successful in this role a candidate must have outstanding communication skills, a deep understanding of the Lincoln Learning Solutions products, services, sales process and implementation plans.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Sales, Marketing or equivalent
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to travel for conferences, client meetings, and more; approximately 30%
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Organization and planning acumen
  • Possess knowledge of competitive products and markets
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate ability to stay on task and drive desired results
  • Exhibit familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Maintain a professional but confident and outgoing demeanor
  • Strong communication skills – verbal and written
  • Act 153 and Act 168

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed sales goals
  • Identify business opportunities with a goal of increasing sales
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing strategies
  • Maintain all client and potential client profiles in Salesforce
  • Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services
  • Set client renewal meetings to prepare forecasts for the upcoming academic year
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending workshops and tradeshows and reviewing professional publications
  • Assist in determining price structure, promotions, and more based on market research
  • Develop scripts, presentation plans, and follow up procedures
  • Attend local, regional, national, and international conferences as necessary
  • Engage potential clients during booth activity and events at conferences
  • Monitor all sales channels and identify untapped market opportunities
  • Build and maintain client relationships
  • Establish and enforce organization and department standards
  • Present information regarding clients and sales
  • Perform any additional duties deemed necessary by leadership

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
